InthisstudythegraphiticorderofcarbonnanostructuresformedonthecathodeduringelectricarcdischargesusingathinelectrodewithNiwerecharacterizedbyScanningelectronmicroscopy,X-raydiffractionandRamanspectroscopy.TheresultssuggestthatmoreorderedcarbonnanostructuresareproducedwhentheACarcdischargemethodisusedforcarbonnanotubessynthesis.Moreover,themoreNicontainsthethinelectrode,themoreorderedphasesareobtained,independentoftheelectricarcdischargemethodused.Furtheron,itcanbeexpectedthatvarioustypesofcarbonnanostructuresbesidesmultiwalledcarbonnanotubes(MWCNTs)coexistintheplasmogenicproductobtained.
