摘要

Slogans are pervasive and familiar forms of communication. This activity asks students to play with the creative elements of slogans while simultaneously synthesizing course information. To be successful, students must identify, construct, and manipulate the layered meanings of course concepts for different audiences and in various contexts. While driven by communication principles, this activity’s usefulness spans disciplinary boundaries. It is an effective tool for any educator’s toolbox.
