摘要

This article analyses the temporal evolution and the spectral structure of the Stokesparameters of the light modulated by longitudinal Pockels effect in 42m crystals, for low modulatingvoltage applied to the modulator.The temporal evolution and the spectral structure of Stokesparameters of the modulated light are analysed for an arbitrary d.c.bias.Two cases important inapplications "no d.c.bias voltage and quarter wave bias voltage "are particularized andexperimentally ilustrated.
