The Influence of Bible on Western Culture

The Bible, the Holy Book of Christianity, has played an inevitably magnificent role in Western culture; therefore, it is no exaggeration to say that without a thorough reading of the Bible, it would be impossible for anyone to have a better understanding of the Western culture. In light of this, the author intends to highlight the influence the Bible has on the Western culture from the perspectives of political system, literature, language, art and daily life, thus hoping to provide a different angle to the deeper interpretation of the Bible and its influence on the Western Culture.
