摘要

The article reviews neural networks applications in urban traffic managementsystems and presents a new approach for utilizing NN for devising a management system. Itdescribes neural networks features, which allow them to be used to solve optimisation tasksinvolved in designing road traffic control strategies in urban traffic systems (UTC systems). Inthe proposed approach a neural network model is used for the prediction of road trafficintensity based on historical data.
