Profile of patients enrolled in a Fracture Liaison Service in a private tertiary hospital in Cebu

It is estimated that the number of osteoporotic hip fracturesamong Filipinos will reach 65, 000 by 2020 and 175,000 by 2050. In anattempt to improve the identification, diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis in the province of Cebu, the Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) wasstarted. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of this program fortargeting these high-risk groups and improving secondary fractureprevention.
