Study of ferroelectric liquid crystal modulators for their use in diffractive and polarization optical applications

摘要

This paper presents a summary of the PhD thesis with the same name. Specifically, the following issues are addressed: 1) Development of a calibration method of the physical parameters for ferroelectric liquid crystal modulators, 2) use of ferroelectric liquid c rystal modulators in diffractive optics and polarization, and 3) use of multiple characterization techniques to assess the quality of the computer generated holograms to be fabricated on silicon wafers.
