摘要

In this paper we investigated the effects of dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) treatments on the adhesion properties of polyamide-6 films, selected as a material of interest in medical applications. The surface characterization is performed using AFM, contact angle measurement, ellipsometry and surface conductivity measurement. The adhesion properties of the surfaces in contact with biological molecules are discussed related to the parameters controlling the interfacial processes between biological liquids-polymer surface. Results show that DBD represents an attractive technique to enhance the adhesion of biological molecules onto the surface of polymer films.
