The Study to Propose Life Jacket Provision Index Static Model for the Assessment of the Provision of Life Jacket On Board Coastal Passenger Vessel

摘要

This paper proposed a new model referred as Life Jacket Provision Index Static (LPIS).This new model and its algorithm weredeveloped based on the combination of variablesof the safety assessment model of life jackets, safety assessment model of passengervessel and variable compatibility as the new variable.Thus,the variables areaccessibility, safety instruction and compatibility respectively. The purpose of the LPISmodel is to assess the compatibility between life jacket and the coastal passengervessel.
