SeveralmicroorganismswereisolatedfromrootsoftreeswithspecialcharacteristicsofAlnusacuminatavar.Acuminata.Theywereobtainednbsp;fromCiena?osdeSoledadfarmandSanPabloexperimentalstationoftheUniversidadNacionalinRionegro(Antioquia).ThefirstgroupofmicroorganismswascomposedofbacterialstrainswhichbelongtotheFrankiaactinomyceteand(these)werecalledF1,F2andF3(codesCUNMS501,CUNMS502andCUNMS503,respectively).Thesecondgroupwasofendomycorrhizalfungi,whichwerecalledMn1,Mn2,andMn3(codesMICUNMS31MICUNS32andMICUNMS33,respectively).TheexperimentwasdoneintheSanPablostationandaimedtoevaluatetheeffectivenessofwildstrainsagainstknownendomycorrhizalfungistrains(Entrophosporacolombiana,Glomusmanihotis,G.fistolosumandG.intrarradices)inAlnusacuminata.Thesoilwassterilized.Acompletelyrandomizeddesignwasemployedwith37treatmentsandsixrepetitions.Theplantshoot,thenoduledryweight,thepercentageofinfectionbyfungiinrootsandtheshootnitrogenandphosphoruscontent,weretheevaluatedvariables.Frankia(F2orF3)andwildmycorrhizalfungus(Mn2)treatmentswerethebestinrespectofthevariablesanalysed.TheMn2F2treatmentwassimilartotreatmentwithappliedN.TheG.fistolosumhadapositiveeffectwhenitwasassociatedwithFrankiaF1andF2wildstrains.
