Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of standardized skin care intervention in prevention of skin lesion in breast cancer patients with radiotherapy. Methods A total of 80 breast cancer patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 40 cases in each group. Both two groups received routine nursing care during radiotherapy, and standardized skin care intervention was carried out in the observation. The skin lesion condition of patients was evaluated. Results The proportion of patients with grade 0 to grade 1 skin lesion was 70.0%(28/40)in the observation group and was 35.0%(14/40)in the control group, with a significant difference(P0.01). Conclusion Standardized skin care intervention is potentially effective to reduce the severity of skin lesion in breast cancer patients after radiotherapy.
