：Objective To explore the nursing measures of postoperative severe abdominal distension in patients with painless enteroscopy. Methods 〓Totally 13 patients with severe abdominal distension after painless enteroscopy from March 2016 to June 2018 were given abdominal massage, hot compress, thunder-fire moxibustion and manual ventilation as well as careful nursing. Results 〓All patients were relieved from severe abdominal distension within 3 h after nursing. Conclusion 〓Nursing measures such as abdominal massage, hot compress, thunder-fire moxibustion and manual ventilation can relieve patients from severe abdominal distension after painless enteroscopy and improve patients' comforts.
