:Objective To investigate the effect of thunder-fire moxibustion by midnight-noon ebb-flow in the treatment of enteral nutrition-associated diarrhea in ICU patients. Methods 〓Totally 40 ICU patients with enteral nutrition-associated diarrhea were assigned to the control group and the observation group, with 20 cases in each group. All patients received routine care during enteral nutrition support, and those in the observation group were given thunder-fire moxibustion by midnight-noon ebb-flow. The treatment efficacy of intervention was evaluated and compared between two groups. Results 〓The thunder-fire moxibustion by midnight-noon ebb-flow was associated with treatment efficacy(P0.05). Patients in the observation group had a shorter antidiarrheal duration and longer treatment period of enteral nutrition compared with those in the control group(P0.05). Conclusion 〓The thunder-fire moxibustion by midnight-noon ebb-flow is potentially effective in treatment of enteral nutrition-associated diarrhea and increase tolerance of enteral nutrition among ICU patients.
