:Objective To explore the effect of optimized triage process in pre-examination and triage for patients with non-traumatic chest pain. Methods 〓Totally 102 patients with with non-traumatic chest pain in emergency department from January to December 2017 were selected and randomly divided into control group(n=51)and observation group(n=51)according to visit sequence. Patients in control group received conventional pre-examination and triage process, while those in observation group received optimized pre-examination and triage process. Results 〓A shorter queuing time, and higher triage accuracy rate, emergency processing rate and patients' satisfaction degree were showed in observation group than control group(P0.05 or P0.01). Conclusion 〓Optimization of triage process for emergency department can shortens queuing time and treatment time, and improve patients' satisfaction degree and nursing quality for patients with non-traumatic chest pain.
