Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Chinese herbs lotion combined with telephone follow-up on rehabilitation of patients with replantation of severed fingers. Methods A total of 60 patients with replantation of severed fingers were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 30 cases in each group. Both two groups received routing health education before discharge, and the Chinese herbs lotion combined with telephone follow-up were carried out in the observation group. The compliance of rehabilitation training and the function of replanted finger were evaluated at discharge, 3 and 6 months after discharge, respectively. Results Patients in the observation group had a better compliance of training compared with those in the control group three and six months after discharge(P0.05). Patients in the observation group received a better outcome in evaluation of replanted finger function compared with those in the control group at six months after discharge(P0.05). Conclusion Chinese herbs lotion combined with telephone follow-up is potentially effective to improve the training compliance of patients undergoing replantation of severed fingers, and to improve the postoperative rehabilitation.
