Approaches and methods review for gas-main pipelines integrity assessment.

摘要

In conditions of gas pipelines intensive aging and financial limitations for their rehabilitation the most effective strategy for ensuring a sufficient level of reliability and safety of entire gas transportation system becoming an integrated technical diagnosis and integrity assessment technology. This paper describes various pipeline integrity assessment models developed by the Russian scientists from the 80s of the last century till our days. The review identifies the key scientific issues that require further research.
