PERCEPTIONS TO CAREER SUCCESS: A PHILOSOPHY OF LIFE IN COLLEGE STUDENTS

The objective of this document was to determine students’ perceptions to professional success in life; it is partof a broader research. It is developed under a non-experimental, ex post facto, descriptive, transeccional fielddesign. The sample consisted of 97 students who were in the last biennium of the Engineering career,specifically Civil, Mechanical and Petroleum, at the University of Zulia, East Side of the Lake Campus in 2008.An open questions instrument was applied. The results showed very positive perceptions to career success.
