Early Career Microbiologists’ Forum Update: What’s new for 2018? Committee members, networking events and the Summer Conference

The ECM Forum Executive Committee has been expanding! We have recently welcomed GraceRussell as our second UndergraduateRepresentative, after Amiee Allenstepped down in September. Gracehopes to use her one-year term inthe role to develop a new network forundergraduate microbiologists wherethey can access career opportunitiesand enhance their university experience.Society Champion Colman ó Cathail isnow the new Finance and OperationsRepresentative, and will be workingclosely with the Finance and OperationsCommittee to monitor the ECMForum budget. In addition, Dr HelinaMarshall has been selected as the frstrepresentative who will focus solely onPublishing, with Andy Day continuing histerm working with the Policy Committee.
