Diagnostic difficulties in the diagnosis of cystic fibrosis in a 5-years-old girl

The study presents the case of a child suffering from recurrent inflammation of upper and lower airways, and from abdominal pain. Suspected cystic fibrosis in a 5-years-old child was confirmed by means of identifying the CFTR gene mutation.
