Experimental Study of the Flow Properties if the Water Stream Run Up Against to the Sharp Edge of a Cavity

摘要

Article summarizes the findings obtained from the experiments realized during the recent years. Thefundamental topic of the research is the investigation of the behaviour of a water flow directed against a sharp edge.The experiment assembly, as well as the working principle of the measurement device, are described and the suitabilityof the device for different kind of experiments is discussed. Presented in the end is the comparison of the experimentalresults with the numerical simulations.
