Interaction of Technical and Technological Methods and Formation of National and European Schools of Lacemaking

摘要

The article deals with the major stages of bobbin-lace origin and development in Western Europe and Russia, considers technical, technological and decorative features of Russian lace in its infancy in late XVIII-first half of XIX century, compares the basic techniques of lacemaking in the West European and Russian production centers.
