Equivalent parameters of an annular homogeneous membrane

The equivalent parameters of an annular homogeneous membrane are determined by an energy method. Equivalent parameters are the parameters of the system replacing a membrane which is the harmonic oscillator (mass-spring system) with a mass element - flat annular piston of the same sizes as the considered membrane. The system replacing a membrane is used for calculation of the acoustic vibrating systems which include membranes. Accuracy of resonant frequency definition by means of the equivalent parameters is estimated. This accuracy is sufficiently high. It allows to use the equivalent parameters of an annular homogeneous membrane for calculation of the acoustic vibrating systems which include membranes. The free vibrations (vibrations with small attenuation) and the forced vibrations of systems with small attenuation may be considered.
