Study on pharmacological mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine in intervention of cardiomyocyte apoptosis and targets prediction based on literature mining

摘要

The aim of this study is to predict possible apoptotic pathway and elucidate the multi-targets’ pharmacological mechanism of Chinese medicine in preventing and treating cardiovascular diseases through apoptosis pathway. Literature mining methods is applied to analyze literatures related to Chinese medicine with cardiomyocyte apoptosis in Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and pubmed database from the year 2005 to 2012. Drug targets cluster analyses were conducted and targets related networks were established by combining Herbal Ingredients' Targets database (HIT) with GenCLiP 2.0 software (Human Gene functions and network analysis). Meanwhile, this study provides a new method to predict potential targets of Chinese medicine in treating cardiovascular diseases and identify the active continent.
