Change is upon us. But isn’t it always? Changes in healthcare are certainlyin play with charters like the IHI’s Triple Aim emphasis on experience,health and cost. Out-of-hospital care is an integral piece of the puzzleand has given rise to an “integrated healthcare” approach, of which emergencymedical services are an important part. We see the beginnings of this embodiedin the umbrella we’ve come to know as “mobile integrated healthcare” (MIH).
