Influence of Planar Transformer Windings Interleaving on Parasitic Parameters

Planar transformers are used in many electronic devices. The aim of this paper is to study the influence of the interleaving of the transformer windings on the parasitic parameters such as: winding resistance, leakage inductivity and stray capacitance. The study focused on reducing these elements and the analysis the variation of each with the frequency of the signals considering also the skin effect and the proximity effect. A finite element method was carried out to emphasize the same influence for the magnetometer force in the planar transformer.
