Glomerulopathies detected during pregnancy may be either proliferative (hematuria,hypertension and glomerular filtration loss) or non-proliferative (nephroticsyndrome), such as being pre-gestation or originating during the pregnancy or postpartumperiod.For this reason, the importance of evaluating the renal parameters is justified both atthe beginning of pregnancy, and throughout the same and the puerperium.
