The mol-ecular structure of the title compound, C23H31NSi2, reveals an acyclic conjugated enyne unit as the main feature. The central pent-2-en-4-yl fragment is essentially planar, with a maximum deviation of 0.0492?(7)?? from the mean plane defined by the C—C=C—C≡C unit. The dihedral angle between the phenyl rings is 84.44?(5)°.
