‘WeRSafe’ An Android Apps for Society

Women’s Security is a critical issue in today’s world and it’s very much needed for every individual to act over such issue. When safety and security of a woman is concerned, a Smartphone can become a powerful tool against the crimes and abuses. But teenagers or adults, be male or female, may also fall into similar situations where they need some help from persons nearby or their relatives at distance. Keeping this in mind, an app has been developed which is dedicated to provide relief to the person in trouble. In emergency situations the app will send an alert message to the user’s emergency contact numbers along with user’s current location. There are many other key features like, “Alarming neighbours’ by loud noise”, “Autodialing”, “Finding location of nearby police station or hospitals” etc. The work is developed in Java Development Kit by using Android Studio. Android provides an open source platform for the development of great apps plus allows the app developers to immediately publish them. The apps ‘WeRSafe’ is of ladies, developed by group of young ladies but takes care of all Young, Adult or Old who need some help from others in the society.
