Results of the analysis of a pumping system made of variable speed centrifugal pumps operating in parallel and delivering a given flow to a common output are presented in this paper. A Matlab program for determining the flow distribution delivered by each pump, according to the total required flow, was coded in such a way that the system losses are minimal.
