Introduction: The reprocessing of reusable medical devices (RMDs) plays asignificant role in the prevention and control of surgical site relate dinfections. Compliance with the Australian Standards in the cleaning,disinfecting and sterilisation of RMDs is paramount in ensuring high qualitypatient care.
