Modified Impression Technique For Flabby Maxillary Ridge

Dentures are designed to replace missing teeth and associatedstructures .Flabby or hyperplastic tissue of alveolar ridges causenumerable problems for fabrication of a stable and retentivedenture. Major problem arises during impression making;masticatory forces displace the mobile denture bearing tissuesleading to loss of peripheral seal and perpetuate tissueinflammation. This paper tries to present a case report of onethe impression making techniques for edentulous patients withflabby alveolar ridges.
