摘要

Photodynamic therapy (PDT) in combination with chemotherapyhas great potential for cancer treatment [1, 2]. However,there have been very few attempts to develop cancer-targetedco-delivery systems of photosensitizers and anticancer drugs.We developed hematoporphyrin (HP)-modified doxorubicin(DOX)-loaded bovine serum albumin nanoparticles (HP-NPs) inan attempt to improve the therapeutic effect of PDT in treatingliver cancer.
