Imazapic Effects on Purple Nutsedge (Cyperus rotundus) Tuber Production

Experiments were conducted from 2014 to 2015 to evaluate the effects of imazapic rate on purple nutsedge establishment and growth in peanut. Irrigated peanut experiments were established in fields that were purple nutsedge free. Pre-sprouted purple nutsedge tubers were then placed into sections of the smooth bed after planting with 20 total per plot. Tubers were planted in a random fashion but marked with a flag for future identification.
