Health Scenario 2015: Present Day Perspective

During 1978 at Alma Ata all member countries ofWHO pledged Health for All by the year 2000 throughPrimary Health Care Approach. At the MillenniumSummit in September 2000,189 United Nations memberstates at the time and at least 23 internationalorganizations, had agreed to improve the situation andaddress many other issues directly or indirectly related tohealth and to try to achieve the targets set by the year 2015[1].
