Findingasuitablepartnerinbothdiasporicandnon-diasporicsettingsprovesincreasinglychallengingforyoungMuslims,especiallythoseunableornotwantingtosearchwithintheirkinshipnetworks.Atthesametime,religiousmatchmakingwebsitesarebecomingincreasinglycommonespeciallyamongMuslimwomen.AsstudiesofMuslimmatchmakingsitestendtofocusontheever-populartopicoftheheadscarfanditsassociationsinthematchmakingcontext,amuchmorecomprehensivestudyofthespecificityoftheonlinereligiousidentitiesandself-representationisrequired.ThispaperexaminesanumberofprofilesofyoungMuslimwomenusingonlinematchmakingsitesanddiscussesbroadthemesoffaith,ethnicityandidentitythatemergeintheanalysis.
