Contribution to the phenological knowledge of Aspilota-group (Hymenoptera Braconidae Alysiinae) in Mediterranean landscapes

This work analyses the phenology of Aspilota-group in three Mediterranean Natural parks:Natural Park of La Font Roja, Natural Park of Las Lagunas de la Mata-Torrevieja and NaturalPark of La Tinen.a de Benifassà. Samples were carried out from April 2004 to December2007. In total, 820 specimens of 53 different species were collected and analysed. The resultsshowed that there was a direct relationship between phenology and climatic conditions, asthe highest abundances of Aspilota F.rster, 1862 were observed when temperatures were be-tween 18-22oC and a few weeks after the rainy season. Phenological information at specieslevel is also provided.
