For many years suitably qualified seniormembers/practitioners of SAICE haveformed the backbone of the alternativedispute resolution processes for civil engineeringcontract disputes in not only SouthAfrica, but in most of southern Africa.The names of these members appear onwhat has become known as the SAICEPresident’s List, comprising Arbitrators,Adjudicators and Mediators. Thesepractitioners play a vital role in the properand equitable handling of constructiondisputes, and they are in constant demand.
