Figures Figure?1 Chest radiograph showed total collapse of the right lung with complete pneumothorax. After drainage, the radiologic expansion of the lung is confirmed, with a hazy consolidation to the third medium, possibly representing ventilatory mismatch. Figure?2 CT scan showed a small apical pneumothorax and an inflammatory consolidation to the inferior right lobe. An interstitial picture of infective nature was also noted in the superior and middle lobes. No pleural effusion was seen. A 46-year-old man presented to the ED for acute worsening of chest pain. The patient complained of cough and dyspnea, but was apyrexial. He gave a history of smoking since age 15. At the time of admission, the patient was not on any medications.
