Polarizing-dependent photoplastic effect in As50Se50 chalcogenide glasses

The band-gap linear polarized light has been shown to produce the hardness anisotropy of the surface of As50Se50fil ms, i.e. this is the result of a light-induced decrease or increase in the plasticity of glasses which depends on the polarization states of the incident light (the polarization – dependent photoplastic effect).
