About Some Suspension Roofs Made of the Orthogonal Cable Networks

摘要

Some types of structures made of orthogonal cable networks areconsidered. Improved technique for analysis regarding the determination of the axialforce in the cables are proposed. Some modification of the outline shape and theanchoring mode meant to increase the safety rank are also mentioned. Aspects ofdynamic effects generated by the wind on these roofs, referring to the flutter andresonance phenomena, are discussed.
