Major Keys has visited our library and spent several days in examining the material on anaesthesia. He has been kind enough to say that it is a very valuable collection of source material for the history of anaesthesia and has asked me to list it here and say something about how the collection was made. I do so in order that other scholars may know where this material is available for study and to assure them that we will help them as freely as we are able if they wish to use any of it.
