A gift of great value came to the Association by bequest from the late Dr. Abraham Jacobi, who left his large and very valuable library to this Association and to the New York Academy of Medicine. Under the terms of the will the Academy was to have anything required for first or second copies, and the balance of the books were to come to the Association to distribute among the membership libraries.
