THE ANNUAL MEETING

When considering the time and place for the Annual Meeting this year, the Executive Committee found themselves confronted with two possibilities: whether to join with the American Medical Association and go to New Orleans for a day's meeting of the usual tvpe, or to go to Washington at some convenient date, and hold the long proposed library school. For many reasons New Orleans did not .5eem practical, the greatest being the lack of accommodation on accotunt of the needs of the A. M. A. The officers feel that we should hold our meetings in as diverse sections of the country as possible that the work of the Association may be known, and hope that we may go to New Orleans in the near future; but that this would not be the best time.
