MINUTES OF THE TWENTIETH ANNUAL MEETING, HELD AT ATLANTIC CITY, JUNE 9, 1919

The Twentieth Annual Meeting of the Medical Library Association was called to order in the Park Avenue Hall of the Marborough-Blenheim on June 9 at 3 P. M. by the President, Dr. William Browning. The report of the Secretary was read by Dr. John Ruhrah, and it was moved by Mr. Fisher, and seconded by Mr. Frankenberger, that this be printed in the BULLETIN. Dr. Ruhrah told of the campaign for new individual members which had been made, and suggested that the various Librarians send in a list of the doctors who are interested in libraries. The Treasurer's report was also read by Dr. Ruhrah, as was the report of the editors of the BULLETIN. Mr. Joseph J. Wilson and Mr. Alfred L. Robert were appointed a committee to audit the books of the Treasurer, and instructed to report at the evening meeting. There was no special report from the Finance or Membership Committees. Miss Noyes made a report as Manager of the Exchange. Col. F. H. Garrison, as chairman of the Committee on Standardizing Classification, moved that the report be postponed until the next meeting, and suggested that he would get in touch with the members of the committee and make the report then. The Secretary read letters from Mr. C. W. Andrews of the John Crerar Library, and Dr. G. M. Gould, who expressed regret at not being able to attend the meeting. Dr. L. H. Taylor and Mr. James F. Ballard were appointed a nominating committee to elect officers for the ensuing year. Miss Noyes read a letter from the National Organization for Public Health Nursing, and asked how many libraries would act as depositories for their material.
