She served asthe library’s director from February1970 through May 2001 and was theschool’s administrator for informationresources from June 2001 untilshe retired in February 2002. Asdirector, Stephanie had administrativeresponsibilities for planning,organizing, and directing the library,as well as preparing thelibrary to use emerging and rapidlychanging technologies. As administratorfor information resources,she focused on developing publichealth informatics resources to supportthe school’s faculty in theirresearch and teaching missions.
