Introduction: Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is an injury of head thatdisrupts the normal function of the brain. It can be caused by a bump,blow, or jolt to the head or a penetrating head injury. TBI is commonand a major cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Neurocriticalcare is the intensive care provided to patients with severe neurosurgicalconditions like TBI. It provides the interface between the brain andother organ systems.
