U.S. to Fund AM Research

As part of a continued push by his administration toward increasing manufacturing based in the U.S., President Obama has proposed creating a National Network for Manufacturing Innovation.Part of the proposal is the creation of up to 15 hubs of commerce, scattered throughout the states to help U.S. manufacturers become more competitive and bring investor cash flow to the process. The president has suggested a $1 billion investment for the network.
