Festoand the leakage management specialist, LeekSeek have formed a joint venture to provide an energy-saving service for users of pneumatics based automation systems.rnCompressed air costs around 1.5 pence; for one cubic metre at 7bar; a medium-sized manufacturer is likely to consume some 50 cubic metres of air per minute - that's nearly £395,000 per annum. Festo and LeekSeek believe that companies adopting a comprehensive leak management strategy like theirs could save up to £118,000 per annum on their compressed air bills.
