摘要

A method of a computer-aided analysis and a description of three-dimensional (3D) morphological structure of porous membranes based on two-dimensional images of cross-sections of a material is presented in the paper. The parameters of pores' shape factor regularity are defined. Theoretical backgrounds of regular pores analysis based on a statistical approach are presented. The method was implemented in a computer program MeMoExplorer (TM), which is also shortly described in the paper. Results of application of the method for analysis of a series of electron microscope images of cross-sections of samples of polyethersulfone membranes are presented. Suggestions concerning possible extension of 3D analysis of morphological structure on irregularly shaped pores in the concluding section are given.
