The Leopard 2A7V Main Battle Tank Capability Augmentation for the Armoured Combat Forces

Starting in 2019, 104 Leopard 2 main battle tanks will be fielded by the Bundeswehr in the new version, A7V. By the end of the project in 2023, a total of 320 Leopard 2 MBT will then be available to the German Army. Amounting to a volume of about € 760M euros, the relevant contract was signed on 5 May 2017.
